10 Most Expensive Celebrity Cars

Read our list of the 10 most expensive celebrity cars.

High lives and famous people are sure celebrated to live in style, and obviously it is one of the luxurious as well as a common method to get recognized. Just because some travel around in Rolls, Bentleys and Ferraris doesn’t mean all stars do. They like driving super cars that are rare and limited edition editions you can only get one of. These are some of the most expensive cars celebrities have owned, from one off concept cars to the track ready hypercars.

Here is the list of the 10 most expensive celebrity cars:

  1. Aston Martin One-77 – $1.8M
The Aston Martin One 77, one of the rarest, if the One 77 indeed made, of the most sought after supercars ever made. Introduced this car in 2008 with its sleek aerodynamic design along with sharp lines is a head turner. Power comes from a 7.3 liter naturally aspirated V12 developing 750 horsepower, and will top 355 km/h (220 mph).

This beauty is one of just 77 units ever produced, and judging from the owners roster (even more rare is former soccer star Samuel Eto’o who has a serious bling in his (auto) collection) it appears that this car would be well worth the questionable risk in pursuing.

  1. Ferrari Monza SP1/SP2 – $2M
One of the most extreme of the iconic Prancing Horse brand is the Ferrari Monza SP. Ferrari has based the open top supercar on the Ferrari 812 Superfast and taken inspiration from the very classic race cars of the 1950s. A bold automotive design statement coming in single seater form (SP1) or as a two seater (SP2).

Hollywood celebrities Gordon Ramsay, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic among them enjoy owning the Ferrari Monza, priced at $2 million. A legendary automotive favourite both for its good looking and 6.5 liter V12 engine, it is speedy and stylistic and the favourite of celebrity travellers.

  1. Bugatti Chiron – $3.1M
It’s common knowledge at this point that Cristiano Ronaldo loves Bugatti, and his Bugatti Chiron is the cherry on top of the cake. Powered by a quad turbine W16 engine that cranks out 1,479 horsepower, the Chiron is one of the world’s fastest cars. It will go 0 to 100 km/h (60 to 0 mph) in a couple and a half seconds — and it tops out at 420 km/hr (260 mph).

And Ronaldo’s CR7 logo ensures this very exclusive hypercar can become even more personal.

  1. 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder – $3M
Porsche 550 Spyder 1955 once a sharp icon of automotives, this symbol a ‘Giant Killer’ of such a racing power. Made only 90 units, it is one of the rarest, prettiest, and most valuable classic cars in the world. Not only did Jerry Seinfeld, one of the richest comedians in the world, buy this thing, and, of course, it has its place in pop culture being worth $3 million.

As historic cars, the Porsche 550 Spyders have historic appeal, but even more so because of their participation in motorsport events.

  1. Maybach Exelero – $8M
Designed by Stola, together with DaimlerChrysler, Maybach Exelero is a ultra rare one off luxury sports coupe. The Exelero unites the luxury of a limousine with the power of a sports car and is known to be built to test high performance tires for Fulda. The beast is powered by a V12 twin turbo and does reach speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

It’s not a $8million supercar owned by rapper JayZ but rap star Birdman.

  1. Bugatti Centodieci – $12M
As with anything Bugatti, the ultra low production continues, and it never ceases to amaze. For the model’s 110th celebration, 10 units of that hypercar were assembled, and ruined. Powered by a quad tunbrbocharged 1,600 horsepower W16 engine, it’s able to do 0 100km/h (0 62mph) in just 2.4sec.

Cristiano Ronaldo is among the lucky few to own this $12 million tribute to the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport of the 1990s.

  1. McLaren F1 – $20M
To many, the McLaren F1 is the greatest supercar created. One of the world’s most exclusive is this car, because there is no such thing as a huge number of road versions produced (106 pieces). Natural aspirated V12 engine allows top speed over 386 km/h (240 mph) and is supported by lightweight construction.

Three owners of this genuine supercar are Jay Leno, Elon Musk, and Ralph Lauren. At the current value of the McLaren F1 sitting at approximately $20 million, it’s the 22nd most expensive car in the world, and a highly sought after item for those who have one.

  1. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail – $28M
The Boat Tail is bespoke luxury at its finest for Rolls Royce. This custom built car is a $28 million wonder that has been put together to represent the nautical graces of J class yachts and classic racing cars. The twin turbocharged 6.75 liter V12 engine is what the car is built on, and it’s assembled on a heavily modified foundation of the Rolls-Royce Phantom’s platform.

According to reports, Jay Z and Beyonce had a model of this ultra luxury vehicle built including a custom rear deck, cocktail table and parasol. The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is one of those cars so exclusive, the people who own it outnumber a list of royalty and Hollywood royalty.

  1. The Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic ($40M)
The Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic is that car, one of the most beautiful, and historically important, cars ever made. This was one of those 1930’s classic cars you don’t see every day. Its teardrop body and art-deco design were a standout from all the other classic cars of such era. Three of them were ever made, one belonging to fashion designer Ralph Lauren.

This is a $40 million valued Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, a car that has been on award after award at Pebble Beach and such, that many consider to be one of the first true supercars.

  1. Ferrari 250 GTO – $55.8M
In its post, Wealthy Gorilla includes the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO car owned by the celebrities in the most expensive cars that they own. Ferrari was this 1960s race car, and it’s one of the company’s benchmark models for its superb driving and performance. They were very collectable as only 36 were ever built.

This is not your usual supercar. Not only do celebrities like Ralph Lauren and Nick Mason of Pink Floyd own it, but the super car itself has some eminent features. In 2018, a Ferrari 250 GTO broke that record by fetching an eye popping $55.8 million, making it the world’s most expensive car.

Conclusion

From cutting edge hypercars to some of the classic cars in history, these are the most expensive cars celebrities own. These cars are a symbol of money, prestige and exclusivity and they cost millions or tens of millions and are far beyond being a reliable form of transport. And if that’s not enough, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bugatti Centodieci or Ralph Lauren’s Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic they are examples of the incredible machines that the world’s biggest stars have to live their luxurious lifestyles in.
